Of the finalists, 9 youth have been selected by lot to participate in a European youth meeting
The Youth Council of the City of Caravaca has completed a new edition of the "Healthy Travel", which aims to prevent the use of snuff among minors.
During this course were 56 students from 4 of the ESO who started the program, getting successfully reach the final 28.
The "Healthy Travel" seeks the active participation of students, who undertake to abandon or fail to start in snuff consumption during the eight months of the program.
Youth attend lectures and group therapy and undergo regular checks being eliminated those that are positive in medical tests.
"The name of the program addresses how to reward students, as they reach the finals are on a lottery to attend a meeting European youth," stated Councilwoman Youth, Antonia Maria Alvarez Jorquera.
On this occasion have been selected by lot before a notary, nine young caravaqueños, traveling from 24 to 28 July the German city of Obertshausen to participate in the European Youth Encounters XI - & H (European Youth Meeting), along with students eight other European countries.
Healthy Travel Program, which was awarded the Youth of the Region of Murcia in category Initiative, has been developing over the past seven years to prevent and reduce smoking among young people in the municipality.
The program has a technical side, that direct and coordinate technical Youth Council, and some medical doctors whose leaders are Juan Antonio Martinez Lozano and Sandro Guaschi.
