In the morning met the negotiating table of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, chaired by Councillor Personnel, Juan Francisco Jiménez Puerta, and composed by the Personnel Board and the Works Council, which comprises representatives the union UGT, CCOO and CSIF.
During the meeting, we have studied the main measures contained in Royal Decree 20/2012, approved last week by the Government of Spain and its implications at the municipal level.
Among the points that have been put on the table include:
-The expansion of the effective working hours to 37.5 hours / week, representing an increase of two hours a week on the current schedule.
-Removal of certain financial assistance to staff contained in the Convention, such as those involving the purchase of eyeglasses or dentures.
-Elimination of 3 of the 6 days off for so-called own affairs.
-The holiday period is fixed for all staff in 22 days.
Other matters discussed at the negotiating table were the implementation of a local intranet space to collect all the information association and the start of negotiations for the adjustment of the ratio Jobs (RPT) to economic and organizational conditions currently available.
The government team of the City of Caravaca expected that those temporary measures are understood in the current economic climate and the need to reduce the government deficit that currently impedes economic recovery and employment in Spain.
