Advance tickets are on sale from 10 to 14 hours in the museums of Caravaca
Dramatized nightly visits to the Castle and the Basilica de la Vera Cruz de Caravaca will start next Wednesday, August 1st, and will continue throughout the month.
In its eighth year, the characters travel to the year 1805, when an epidemic of yellow fever spread throughout the kingdom and threatened with suspension of the popular May Festival.
Castle visits have become one of the classic summer activities Caravaca and one of the most demanded both by the caravaqueños as visitors.
In this sense, the Councillor for Culture and Tourism in the City of Caravaca, María Cruz Perez has said he feels very satisfied with the response from the public that "year after year, go to this particular activity in tourism and cultural with nearly 21,000 tickets sold seven-year history. "
For its part, the director of the museum and coordinator of this activity, Indalecio Well, stresses that it has prepared an original visit, enjoyable and fun, with continuous references to the history of the city.
"This time we moved to 1805, during the reign of Charles IV. Just four years have elapsed since the end of the work of the Temple of the Holy Cross in The Log, and it is spread through the kingdom a yellow fever epidemic that threatens with cause the suspension of traditional May Festival which, incidentally, and included among its festive program to wine Horses up to the Castle.
