The City of Caravaca de la Cruz removes subsidies to political groups in the general budget of 2012, which will be discussed at the next plenary session.
It also provides for the waiver of the Christmas bonus of Mayor and Alderman single released, and the corresponding reduction in the allocation received by the other members of the Municipal Corporation.
With these measures, together with the newly regulated by the Government of Spain for public employees, the Consistory caravaqueño Personal expenses reduced by almost 8.5%, representing a saving of 815,000 euros.
In this sense, from the Department of Finance highlighted that the City of Caravaca is in its range of Spanish municipalities over 25,000 inhabitants, one of the most austere of the country as released for public office and financial allocations for the thereof.
The budget, with a total amount of EUR 21 million, is based on the principles of prudence and austerity, while being able to finance those public services and major initiatives for the town of Caravaca de la Cruz.
