The concert series "A Barranda Moon," scheduled by the Department of Culture and Tourism of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz and the Museum of Ethnic Music, closes with a performance by Enrique and Roberto Ruiz Cubero, known artistically as "Cubero Brothers".
The concert will take place on Saturday, August 25, at 22.00 pm in the museum's courtyard Barranda and entry is free until all seats.
"Cubero Brothers" from the Alcarria, have an original product of the fusion style of traditional sounds with Castille American rural music.
One of the influences of these musicians is in Segovia folklorist Marazuela Agapito, with flute and drum Castilians, defended traditional Spanish music.
The intention of the duo is making the leap from his usual circuit for capturing and like other audiences outside the world of folk and traditional music.
In 2010 "The brothers Cubero", also known as "The cordaineros of Alcarria", received first prize "New Creation Agapito Marazuela Folklore", one of the most important awards that are granted in Spain traditionally inspired music.
Also noteworthy participation in concerts on Radio 3 Spanish TV and major music festivals flolk the country.
The activities held during this summer at the Museum of Ethnic Music-White Collection Fadol have had a great audience participation.
More than 1,200 people have visited the museum in the hamlet of Barranda caravaqueña to witness the performance of programmed percussion occasion of the Night of San Juan and concerts by "cashews" and José Antonio Aarnoutse and Osvaldo Jorge.

What if the jacks were crammed together and seguidillas Castilian, with American country music?
The answer might give it Enrique and Roberto Ruiz Cubero, artistically known as Los Hermanos Cubero.
Twinning naturally, uninhibited and perhaps too naive, the music of his homeland alcarreña with American bluegrass, Los Hermanos Cubero have invented, possibly with a new sound that they are giving a lot of talk in recent times in the folk scene designation of Iberian origin.
A world sometimes seems reluctant when someone disrupts the essences of "folk music", Iberian roots, folk and oral transmission inspiration.
The popular musical echo Alcarria from which they proceed, is allied with the bluegrass of Kentucky, home to one of the most recognized artists who have influenced his music, mandolinist Bill Monroe, perhaps the inventor, or at least one of the most spread pioneers that genre, bluegrass, in the 30s and 40s of the last century.
The other pillar that sustains the sound of Los Hermanos Cubero is on the influence of Segovia Agapito Marazuela folklorist, with the flute and drum Castilians, rescued late Franco dictatorship Spanish traditional music from the clutches of the Women's Section and Choirs Dances and topics that filled and that the appellant had been convicted concept of "Tipical Spanish." In this mission are Los Hermanos Cubero.
Long ago in the Iberian folk scene is a group not able to do that which experts call crossover, ie "make the leap from his usual circuit and natural audience, to capture and like other audiences outside the world of folk and traditional music. "
Los Hermanos Cubero maybe this can be salutary.
I anticipate themselves in one of his songs with the phrase "we taste up to modern Madrid."
In the folk scene and they know a lot, not surprisingly, the 2010 received the first prize "Agapito Marazuela" in "Creating New Folklore", perhaps the greatest and most important award given in Spain to the music of traditional inspiration.
I like to call "Cordaineros" a concept named by them in response to dulzaineros, playing the flute.
Because his is also a voice, nothing but a mandolin and a guitar, ie "14 steel strings", as they say in one of his songs.
The
runs mandolin melodies of flute, guitar and drum rhythm brand: That's the finding of their music transformed.
When not recreate traditional compositions, the lyrics refer to the ingenuity of popular culture.
They have the same way of singing the field, to the moon, to the rivers, to the cherished love ... that any American countryman, but rather talking about the Henares River Ohio; rockrose, gravel, oaks, olive trees, wheat fields and juniper in Instead of corn and cotton fields, for honeymooners, magistrates and millers instead of sheriff and rodeo girls.
Iberian O system as a means of communication, like a Yankee would refer to the famous Route 66, the highway that runs through many U.S. states from south to north.
A single disc on the market, "the Alcarria Cordaineros", and lots of performances by various folk festivals and Iberian are starting to turn in what may be a legend or at the end, another failed attempt that encounters prejudiced ears, and thus remain at the gates of the mainstream.
They are the bastard children of Bill Monroe and Marazuela Agapito, a perfect marriage where nothing squeaks, where everything sounds naturally without remembering to anything other recent mergers between music from distant latitudes, producing fruit of megalomaniacs.
