The Bank of Books, sponsored by the Department of Education of the City of Caravaca and Abraham Project Association, has received more than 1,600 copies since it was set up last August.
Total donated books, 281 were delivered caravaqueñas fifty families.
It has drawn up a list of all publications donated to, those that are not claimed by students of Caravaca, can be used by families from other municipalities in the Region of Murcia.
The Bank of Books has received numerous reading copies of children and young people, for use in an animation workshop and encourage reading in San Francisco public school.
The Councillor for Education, Carmen Ruiz Mulero, wanted to thank the solidarity and involvement shown by the new initiative caravaqueños Bank of Books, and the collaboration of a group of volunteers and staff of Abraham Project, who work daily in the receiving donations, sorting the material and family care applicants.
Carmen Ruiz reported that the Bank of Books is still running and that we need more copies of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th of ESO.
The material collection point is located in the store-trace of Abraham Project, located on Calle Juan Carlos I, number 22.
The time to deposit and request books from 10:00 to 14:00 and in the afternoon from 17:00 to 20:30.
