Tomorrow, Saturday, October 6, is celebrated in the hamlet of La Almudema caravaqueña the Alpine Marathon VII Al-mudayna.
The event marked a record participation with respect to previous editions, with 1,100 athletes registered in its various forms and 150 participants in the cross of smaller categories, according to data provided by the Department of Sports City of Caravaca de la Cruz.
The trial, in its modes of walking, running race and Mountain Bike, run along places like the Mountain Goats and the environment Quípar River Valley.
Participants face a layout with 9 levels of mountain and a positive slope of 1,900 meters.
For the organization of the event, the city of Caravaca de la Cruz and Al-mudayna Sports Association have coordinated a health and safety device, composed of local police and Civil Defence volunteers, Red Cross, North West Regional Hospital and neighbors The Almudema.
The activities planned around this sporting event begins today, Friday, at 20.00 in the social center of the Almudema, with a briefing.
The same is expected to attend the Councillor for Sports, Emilio Perez, the representative of Al-mudayna Sports Association, David Giménez, and runners and elite cyclists Raul Garcia Castan, Fran Pérez and Carlos Coloma.
