The mayor, Domingo Aranda and the Councillor for Education, Carmen Ruiz, received yesterday afternoon a group of European teachers participating in the project "Comenius", in which the school participates caravaqueño Cervantes.
The CEIP-CB Cervantes has started a new project with teachers Comenius schools in several European countries, including France, Belgium, Portugal, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey.
The working language will be, as in the previous project, the French.
During this week, representatives of some of these centers have visited Caravaca de la Cruz to finalize the terms of the proposed work for the next two years.
The project will focus on traditional games, popular games, traditions and legends.
The coordination of the work will be done by the school teachers Cervantes.
In the work program this week included a visit to the Museum of the Party and the Museum of Vera Cruz.
During the tour had the opportunity to meet the most important celebrations, especially those related to the rituals of Vera Cruz, as the horses came, which also met its bid to be declared Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
The group of European teachers, accompanied by some classmates Cervantes, was received by the Mayor and the Councillor for Education in the Crystal Hall of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz.
Aranda was interested in the details of the project and asked the teachers about the most popular traditions of their countries and, particularly, its cities and counties.
