Municipal School Athletics season has started official competitions in Cross Cotillas Towers.
"Throughout the year 2012/2013, the school will participate in the six days of the League Regional Cross Country, where athletes will be selected to represent the national championships in Murcia", as indicated by the Councillor for Sports Emilio Perez, who was keen to stress the good results achieved by caravaqueños in this first round of the Regional League.
In the cross played on Sunday highlighted the positions of Jaime Ruiz Morales (Benjamin) and Ángel Pérez Arévalo (Child), who managed to get on the podium, to be in second and third place in their respective categories.
Also, mention the sixth positions Morenilla Laura Navarrete (Female Cadet) and Wonders González Fernández (Promise Female).
School Athletics launched by the Department of Sports has 30 children and youth in the Kids category at the Cadet.
The school is run by the athlete José Antonio Molina Fernández caravaqueño.
The next February Caravaca de la Cruz will host one of the six days of the League Regional Cross Country.
