Within the campaign "separates Caravaca, Caravaca recycling" of the Department of Environment of the City of Caravaca, students from five schools in the municipality have made a tour of the Center for Urban Solid Waste Treatment Cañada Hermosa, located Murcia.
The visit in collaboration with Cespa, was preceded by a briefing to learn how to make the waste management and the selection of packaging from the collection.
Later, they made a tour of the treatment facilities, sorting yellow container packaging, landfill and power generation plant with biogas produced by the landfill.
"This activity is intended to inform and educate school children about the importance of proper and adequate management of our waste as a means of respect and preservation of the ecological environment", as reported by the Environment councilor in the city of Caravaca, Antonia M ª Álvarez Jorquera.
