The Tourist Consortium of greenways in the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the city of Caravaca de la Cruz, develops a course for people with disabilities to perform ancillary jobs in the hospitality sector and rural tourism.
This training course began yesterday in the shelter of the old train station of Caravaca with the assistance of the council of Employment and Tourism, Salvador Gomez and Maria Cruz Perez, respectively.
The course, funded by the Caja Mediterráneo, addressed through different modules such aspects as the basic rules of food hygiene, room service and food, leisure routines of rural tourism and customer service techniques, among other things .
Moreover, note that currently is running a workshop on Employment of the Greenway, involving a total of 33 people from the towns of Caravaca de la Cruz, Cehegín and Bullas.
The workshop is funded with 700,000 euros by the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia (SEF) and has three training specialties: Promotion of Tourism and Visitor Information, Gardening and Landscape Restoration and Masonry.
