On Sunday, December 9, the Grand Tournament Medieval recreate the spectacular battles between knights
Caravaca de la Cruz celebrates its ninth annual Medieval Market from 6 to 9 December, coinciding with the Bridge of the Constitution, with the participation of craft stalls from all over Spain and a varied program of activities.
To date have confirmed their participation in the market about 200 artisans from different guilds as ceramics, painting, rock, wood, jewelry and food, among others.
Among them will be 25 artisans from Caravaca and some 20 associations and nonprofit groups.
Following the pattern of previous years, the market will tour the historic areas such as the Arco Plaza, Plaza Nueva and the streets the nuns, and extends to Mayor Street Rafael Tejeo.
The Medieval Market IX will be entertained by entertainment shows, bands, children's corners and falconry demonstration workshops, glass blowing, around, leather, clay modeling and fossil molds to paint children.
Also, Sunday, Dec. 9, at 17.00 the Bullring Medieval house the Grand Tournament, which will recreate the dramatic battles between knights.
Tournament Tickets are sold at the price of 3 euros early in the Tourist Office or at the box office on the day of the event.
Moreover, coinciding with the market, will host the V Segureño Gastronomic Lamb, which will involve a total of 10 bars and restaurants in the town, outside the Northwest Hospitality Association and Mula River.
In addition, every day the market will be served the "Popular Foods", 13.00 to 16.00 on the promenade of Santa Clara.
The City of Caravaca de la Cruz has coordinated a traffic safety device, which involved the local police, Civil Guard, Civil Defense and Red Cross, as well as special services and care Cleaning and tourism, with the Office of Tourism and Information Point Arc Square open during market days.
