Archivel begins this Saturday, December 1st, the celebrations in honor of Santa Barbara with the crowning of the queen.

The party, formed by an extensive and varied program of religious activities, entertainment and dining, have been submitted by the council of Celebration, Joseph Francis Garcia, the headman, Juan Gonzalez, and representatives of the Party Commission, Marcos Lopez and Francisco José Fernández.

On December 4, the day of Santa Barbara will be held the traditional wreath, Mass and procession in honor of the patron and then the parade of floats.

Over the next week's planned a holiday program with activities including notably Rice Day (December 5), the Pilgrimage (December 6), the Children's Day (December 7).

She Alicia Ortiz Lopez will be the queen of the festival of Santa Barbara 2012 and will be accompanied by a court composed of Nerea Sanchez children, Daniel Mulero, Paloma Martín, Ángel García, Inmaculada Salcedo, Esteban Salcedo, Angela Garcia, Carmen Esteban and Blas Marin .
