For us, the people who make up Union, Progress and Democracy in Caravaca, this is still a novelty, as if we barely a couple of years in office as a political party and just over a year and a half of municipal management in the city of Caravaca.

We as a young political party focused, without legacies of the past and with his hands "clean", a party that leads the most valued national leader of the moment, Doña Rosa Diez Gonzalez and that is called to be sooner than later an alternative to bipartisanship atrocious lives not only in Caravaca, but in our region and in Spain.

With the support of almost 6% of the population caravaqueña, we began our journey institutional and civic engagement, not just those who voted for us at the time, but with all / as the caravaqueño / as.

To UPyD there are neither "us" nor "theirs", only exist CARAVAQUEÑOS AND CARAVAQUEÑAS, and this will remain our main reason to go to the best in us.

That is why work and perseverance have been our hallmark since the City of Caravaca, proposing motions as important as the critical situation of the company and its future Jubilee Caravaca, Caravaca creation for a Master Plan Tourism to relaunch this activity as an economic and social development of our municipality, motions to boost local trade, or in support of the Main Street and the Old Town, or the latest still debated Grant to create a long-term unemployed and Pensioners to serve as the IBI council tax, among many others.

In total since the beginning of the legislature have proposed the full City Council nearly 40 motions and a battery of questions by circumstances beyond our control are still pending municipal.

But as we have also suffered the wrath of no government team, which on more than one occasion and losing ways, have tried unsuccessfully to intimidate our spokesperson and councilor, Miguel Sanchez, even having to leave the Plenary Hall on its own initiative on occasion, like the rest of the opposition.

A work that remains for this coming year 2013, is the seat the party get different peoples of our region, we have the "seed cast" in various locations, Cehegin, Mula and Moratalla, and soon will be released this natural expansion Party throughout the Northwest Region of Murcia.

Locally UPyD Local Council has attended all meetings of the Regional Council of the Region of Murcia, besides being present through various meetings with local groups, or on the street with the citizens of the municipality of Caravaca in the so called UPyD�A.

We have also organized for 2nd consecutive year the Second Conference on Coexistence of Murcia UPyD where gathered in Caravaca, UPyD Regional Coordinator, Rafael Sanchez and virtually all of the mayors of UPyD Region and supporters and affiliates of all Local Councils UPyD in the Autonomous Community of Murcia.
