The Department of Culture of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz show from next Monday, January 14 in the exhibition hall of the Society of Jesus over 4,000 photographic images Martínez-Litrán file.

The new exhibition will comprise over 4,000 snapshots, the period between 1939 and 1945.
The photographic Martinez-Litrán belongs to the Municipal Archives of Caravaca de la Cruz and consists of over 70,000 negatives of studio founded in the mid-'20s by José Martínez Salinas and continued, from the 60s, by Alfonso Litrán Nogueras.
The Department of Culture, after recovering the negatives, began a process of restoration, scanning and digitized them.
"The fund contains images until the mid 80s, so we are talking about more than half a century of history graph, we want to show progressively in successive exhibitions," he pointed the mayor of Culture.
The exhibition will be open from 14 January to 8 February, 11.00 to 13.30 and 17.30 to 20.30, in the exhibition hall of the Society of Jesus.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on Monday at 20.00

Moreover, note that the Department of Culture, in collaboration with the municipal department of Computing, has digitized the photographs that were part of the first exhibition and designed a website so they can be viewed or downloaded by interested persons an easily.
