Compared to previous years, raises the percentage participation and resolution
The Office of Complaints and Suggestions Hall of Caravaca de la Cruz handled during the past year 2012 a total of 1,131 submissions.
The neighborhood set of requests received, 602 correspond to parts breakdown, with 328 complaints, 131 and 70 with online consultations with suggestions and thanks.
The resolution rate reached over 90%, which means that 9 out of 10 incidents have been resolved satisfactorily, as is clear from the report by the technician in charge of running the office.
The mayor, Domingo Aranda, has valued very positively the performance of this service, as statistics show that last year the office has established itself as a valid tool to effectively manage and close relationship between the administration and the neighbors .
Aranda also emphasized Sunday that it has increased the level of public participation in respect of previous years, which is a great help to respond to the real needs of citizens, optimize resources and prioritize spending.
"The council is to serve the public and we would like that public participation was increasing," he said.
Based on the annual report of the Office of Complaints and suggestions, the most common are related to street cleaning, road traffic signaling, solar cleaning, maintenance of gardens and public security related cases.
As to the method used by citizens to communicate with the local authority, the face is still the most widely used over the phone or the computer type.
The percentage of complaints resolved rises to 92.6%, that is, made of 328, 304 are met, while the level of defect parts is solved 86.8% (of 602 parts presented, 523 are resolved).
This year there are 63 and suggestions were taken into account 60.
With respect to the years 2010 and 2011, has increased considerably citizen participation.
