The City of Caravaca de la Cruz has submitted a document to the draft Decree allegations and Comprehensive Management Plan Natura 2000 spaces.
"The municipal technical services Urbanism area have produced a report of over eighty pages with a series of allegations that analyze the impact that the implementation of this plan would have on the municipal land," stated Councilman Urban Development Salvador Gomez
The report, based on the criteria of those skilled in the art and corroborating arguments expressed by agricultural associations, lists the conditions on different soil types and a specific analysis of the proposed legislation to regulate the management of protected natural areas (Special Protection Areas for Birds, special conservation areas and areas of connectivity or corridors).
In short, the Consistory caravaqueño claims these new protection areas adhere to the minimum necessary and that regulation is weighing on them as flexible as possible.
The report adds to the motion passed at the last plenary by all political groups in calling for an extension of the period of public exhibition of the draft, which is conducted information campaign aimed at those affected and to apply the maximum flexibility in addressing the allegations to the extent that it becomes a real opportunity to reconcile environmental conservation and economic activity generated by agriculture and livestock in the Northwest Region.
