The theater Thuillier of Caravaca de la Cruz in the coming weeks will host a series of winter theater representations composed "The crime was in Granada" (February 22), "Chaos" (March 1) and "La dama boba" (March 8).
The councilman of Culture, Maria Cruz Perez, and representatives of theater companies participating today presented the works and have made an appeal for public support with their presence the theater and the work of the cast Murcia which will move to the city.
The cycle begins this Friday, February 22, at 20:30 with "The crime was in Granada", a show that is born of the desire to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the death of the poet Federico Garcia Lorca.
The actors are dressed in tragedy but not lose their status as citizens who participate in the tribute.
It is an original version of Lorca's work "Mariana Pineda" in that mix traditional and modern elements, with live music and dance.
The representation will be provided by "Laula Theatre", a group that emerged in the Theatre of the University of Murcia, the result of the interest of a group of young people to express their concerns through the performing arts.
The second performance will be "Chaos" by Antonio Alamo and the company "Plas, Plas, performing arts," scheduled for March 1.
This is an original show designed to be four bands, as a ring, where the viewer is surrounded the stage and actors.
The plot unfolds with a chaotic argument and large doses of humor.
"La dama boba (not versed version)", scheduled for March 8, will be the third and final piece of this cycle.
The company "imagined space" will stage an original and updated version of the play by Lope de Vega, extolling the value of education in society.
Tickets are on sale only at the price of 6 euros in advance in New Jewellery (Main Street) and the day of each performance at the box office Thuillier.
It has set a reduced price of 4 euros for students of secondary schools.
