Coinciding with the campaign of World Rare Disease to be held on 28th February, the Delegation of ERDF in Murcia together with volunteers from the association visited this Friday DGENES College Sáez Basilio Caravaca de la Cruz to take out awareness campaign on these pathologies.
Through this activity elementary students of this center have seen first hand that children with rare diseases are children in their normal feelings and needs, they have more points of similarity than difference with others, people who can enjoy life and to bring happiness to those who deal with them and who, with the help needed, can develop their skills and abilities.
Children are brave fighters, workers and full of excitement and hope for change and improve the situation of the entire group of rare diseases.
This activity is intended recreational and educational
Educate the entire educational community of the problems associated with rare diseases, thereby achieving equity and education response
Normalize the image of people with rare diseases among the smallest generating attitudes of respect for differences.
