The City of Caravaca de la Cruz is conducting a training program on education in free time consists of a series of workshops on various topics.
The courses offered during the current academic year and involved more than 70 young people from the town and other parts of the Region of Murcia.
The training initiatives planned by the Youth Council are directed at instructors, entertainers, members of associations and, in general, to all those interested in the field of non-formal education.
The course objectives are to update and recycle the training of monitors Leisure; build a career for young people interested in this area and create a meeting in the Youth Center between people with similar concerns to promote new projects.
In this sense, the mayor of Youth in the Consistory caravaqueño, Antonia Maria Alvarez stressed that these courses "allow qualifying professionally young people interested in non-formal education and they get the official title issued by the region".
To date, there have been courses mediator youth drug prevention, monitor course in leisure and other new techniques and resources in the field of animation.
In the near future, the Youth Council will offer more training initiatives in the field of non-formal education.
The Plan of Education in Leisure is integrated into the municipal program of alternative entertainment during weekends and holidays "Caravaca Young", which also includes other activities like photography workshops, short films or sign language.
