The director of the Institute for Tourism, Enrique Ujaldón, delivered today to the town of Caravaca de la Cruz Award for 'Best Tourist Office in the Region' that each year gives the region.
During the course of the Quality Committee of the Network of Tourist Offices, which took place at the Institute of Tourism, we analyzed data provided by the 26 offices included in the network as well as from all data points .
In this regard, the Office of Tourism of Caravaca de la Cruz was the highest rated in terms of management information services, quick response and efficiency and professionalism of its employees.
In 2012, this office served 28,624 visitors, 29,192 plus providing services and being the third in workload of the regional territory.
Also, in relation to the aggregate, over the past year sought information on tourist offices in the region 424 879 439 135 tourists and paid services, increasing them by 7.8 percent from 2011.
Ujaldón acknowledged "the great work accomplished by the Network of Tourist Offices in the region and the efforts of the Department of Caravaca to enhance the quality of your office."
He also thanked all tourist offices "his dedication to the development of tourism and promoting the wide range of activities available in the region of Murcia."
