More than 1,200 students have participated in the ongoing 2012/13 in the Municipal Sports organized by the city of Caravaca de la Cruz, said the Councillor for Sports, Emilio Perez, during the closing ceremony held in Hall Juan Antonio Carlini, in which prizes were awarded to the regularity and held an exhibition of Gymnastics.
Students from Benjamin to Cadet category, broke down in twenty different sports, which include Gymnastics, Soccer, Futsal, Basketball, Climbing, Volleyball, Dance, Athletics or nature activities, among others.
During this course, the Sports Council has increased the range of activities with Triathlon School and schools of technology Soccer and Tennis, given the latter two in collaboration with the Centro Deportivo Caravaca.
"And this year we have worked on the unification of the municipal sport image, with the creation of training and competition kits for all schools in order to enhance municipal sport and promote equality in sport among all students ".
Municipal Sports Schools, with a total of 1,241 students enrolled, are among the first in the Region of Murcia in the level of participation and number of activities and modalities offered.
