As part of the activities organized during the Sixth Conference of the World Environment Day, yesterday afternoon saw the contest awards for artistic creation "Create-Cicla", organized by the city of Caravaca de la Cruz among secondary school students in the municipality.
The Department of Environment awarded the first prize of this contest to the students of IES Oróspeda Laura Carlini Botia Ruzafa and Veronica Alvarez for the job "Bowling".
The second prize went to Ivan Torres Sánchez, for the play "Airplane" and the third in Carmen Martínez Álvarez, for "Refrigerator", both the institute Chirinos.
Also granted a special mention to Alfonso Sanchez Salcedo, the Pérez Chirinos, for the work "Refrigerator".
"All work submitted to the contest" Create-Cicla "have been made from recycled materials such as glass, paper, cardboard and plastic, as a way to encourage creativity and the values ​​of respect for the environment," explained yesterday during the awards ceremony the mayor Antonia María Álvarez Jorquera.
