The new structure introduces a management team and the figure of area coordinators
The Department of Sports City of Caravaca de la Cruz has created a manual and a new organizational structure, which comes into force next year and aims to improve the coordination and optimize the resources available to provide citizens with alternative healthy leisure.
"The rules, created with the consensus and participation of the team of the Department, will be an effective tool to improve the daily work and increase the quality and variety in all the services we offer to the public" in the words of the mayor of Sports, Emilio Pérez Marín.
The new organizational structure introduces the Technical Management Team, which includes the Councillor for Sports and the service manager, Pedro Antonio Abril.
This team is part of the coordinator's new area, with the main goal programming, planning, control and supervise the sports school of what is responsible.
Area coordinators of the Sports Council shall Mariano Oyonarte (Football), Sergio de la Calle (soccer), Javier Sáez (Basketball), Edvaldo Carvalho (Volleyball), Maria Garcia Caballero (Tennis), José Antonio Molina (Athletics) , Josefa Matallana (Rhythmic Gymnastics) and Ana María Giménez (+ Sport).
The chart also includes a team of 27 monitors and 5 janitors.
"The monitor is also an educator, not just the maintainer of a sport, therefore, above the pure sporting success, seek human growth students, promoting values ​​such as respect, humility and commitment," explains Councillor for Sports.
The new manual operation of the Sports Council established regular meetings of the Technical and Area Coordinators with monitors and parents, as the main communication channel to improve service and enhance the training of students passing through the different categories.
One of the cornerstones of the Sports Department is to promote grassroots sport through about twenty different modalities schools, involving 1,200 students, and through the program "School Sports" in all schools in the municipality.
In addition, throughout the year are scheduled over 30 competitions, tournaments and activities, for children's, youth and adult.
In addition, the Department supports groups, associations and local clubs linked to sport, with particular attention to initiatives that promote sports tourism.
