The City of Caravaca de la Cruz presented the project to rehabilitate the palatial home of the Wine Horses Architecture Awards in the Region of Murcia.
One hundred jobs are candidates to be awarded in the seventeenth edition of the awards that summons the Ministry of Public Works and Territory Management in collaboration with the Association of Architects of Murcia.
The House of Wine Horses, property dating from the seventeenth century and located in the historical district, has undergone a complete renovation project, funded with 290,000 euros in aid "Leader" of the European Rural Development Fund.

The property, exceptionally cataloged in the Special Plan to Reform the Old Town, had extensive damage to the roof and structure.
The works have mainly consisted of the complete replacement of the roof tile based Arab reform the facades of the streets Gregorio Javier and New, replacement of woodworking and electrical installation, pavement restoration and installation of a panoramic elevator.
The project includes new uses, such as rooms for workshops, museísitico space to collect the history and evolution of the celebration of the horses came, café and temporary exhibitions.
