The City of Caravaca de la Cruz, in collaboration with the Institute of Tourism of the Murcia Region, will launch a new edition of "Free Tours by Caravaca de la Cruz".
"The third edition of the guided tours through the town will run during the months of October, November, December, January, February and March, making them coincide with the Pilgrim's Market, every third Sunday of the month", as announced Councillor for Tourism, Maria Cruz Perez, who also reported that, according to data from the Institute of Tourism, Caravaca visits are of most accepted are those scheduled in the region.
The Department of Tourism has changed the route of the tour in this third edition.
The tour will start at the Royal Basilica of the Holy Cross at 11.15 am and will continue through the medieval quarter, the Church of El Salvador, the High Street and the church of the Society of Jesus.
Next, the participants will enter in the old town to get to the Plaza del Hoyo, the Temple and the glider with the Pilgrim's Market.
The tour, led by an official guide, will take approximately an hour and a half.
Participants in this activity will get a bonus of 10% off on drinks at local Hospitality Association.
The next visit will be on 20 October 17 November 15 December 19 January, 16 February and 16 March.
