Coinciding with the celebration of the thirty-sixth edition of the Festival of the crews, the hamlet of Barranda hosts this weekend Farmers Markets IV Traditions.
The market will be installed on the road from Granada permacerá and open to the public on Saturday, January 25, from 12:30 to 20:00, and Sunday, January 26, from 10.30 to 21.00.
The Market Farming Traditions, sponsored by the Department of Trade and Crafts of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, will feature more than 35 outlets and will be entertained with demonstration workshops as the distillation of aromatic plants, pleita, farmers tools and face painting.
Similarly, along a route you will taste typical local products of the area.
"This market, which has enjoyed in all editions of pretty crowd, is specially dedicated to the sale of local food products as well as tasting traditional local recipes, like crumbs or sweet liqueurs and peasants" as explained by the mayor of Trade and Crafts, Maria Teresa Romero.
A traditional craft items, others engaged in the sale of honey, cheeses, meats, pickles, liqueurs, sweets and traditional bakery will be added.
