The Ministry of Education, Universities and Employment provides that 50 students of the second cycle of the Children's Centre and Primary Education Basilio Sáenz de Caravaca de la Cruz have started this course in English immersion within an experimental program developed in six centers in the region.

The immersion will take place during a daily session of one hour in a specialist English teacher uses the target language exclusively to communicate with students.
This approach to the oral use of English is communicative activities and routines common situations in the classroom and the world of children, addressing the contents thereof through globalized activities with interest and meaning for children.

The objectives of the program are to improve the learning and acquisition of skills in listening comprehension of the English language, the content development in formal, informal and non-formal activities to promote linguistic communication, and expand communication skills in different languages ​​and forms of expression of students.
Selected for the implementation of this program centers, plus Basilio Saenz, are the CEIP Las Lomas, Eagles, Atalaya, Cartagena, Carmen Conde, Jumilla, Tierno Galvan, Molina, and Virgen de la Vega, the village of Murcia Casillas.
