The Department of Environment of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, in collaboration with ECOEMBES, has launched a new phase of the campaign "separates Caravaca, Caravaca Recycle".
During this week, there has been a byte of households in the village and districts to disseminate a manual for the proper recycling of plastic and glass.
Moreover, as part of that public awareness campaign, more than 200 students from schools in the county have participated in an activity called "Virtual games education for recycling," which aimed to convey to students the basic concepts needed to map all waste generated at home and know the place you must deposit each residue.
In addition, all participants received a backpack for easy recycling.
As recalled the mayor responsible for the municipal area of ​​Environment, Antonia María Álvarez Jorquera, the campaign "Caravaca separated Caravaca Recycle" was launched in November last year and includes several actions aimed at different sectors of the population.
"Our goal is to promote the selective collection of light packaging from households and other waste, employing direct and pleasant communication," the mayor pointed out.
