In order to support the foundation Man Project, the City of Caravaca de la Cruz celebrates this Sunday, February 23, at 19.30 a concert of classical music by forming "Harmonie XXI".
The entrance fee is $ 5 and the proceeds will go to assist the rehabilitation programs offered by the foundation "Project Man" at its headquarters in Caravaca de la Cruz.
Since 2006 and under a cooperation agreement with the City of Caravaca, Proyecto Hombre place in the town rehabilitation programs aimed at patients with drug problems.
"With this show we want to increase the financial aid it currently receives Man Project, as their therapists and volunteers play an important social work, providing a service, treatment and prevention to those most in need and their families" in the words Councillor of Social Promotion, Carmen Ruiz.
The term harmonie gave meaning in eighteenth-century Europe to a genre whose protagonists were the woodwind ensembles.
This term "Harmonie-XXI", an instrumental ensemble dedicated to music for winds from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries is born.
Its components are formed in centers from Spain, Italy, England or USA and develop their professional activity involved with various chamber groups and orchestras as well as teaching at various conservatories in Spain.
