Caravaca de la Cruz commemorating the United Nations Day for Women's Rights and International Peace with different activities planned from the Department of Women, Family Social Development of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz.
Planned activities begin tomorrow, at 17.00, with the workshop "From inequality to gender violence", which will be held at the Municipal Center for Employment and Training, open to anyone who is interested.
The workshop, organized in collaboration with the Directorate General of Domestic Violence of the Presidential and Hispanic American Women Association, will feature members asociones and presence of different groups in the municipality.
On March 8, Women's Day, at 19.30, the Plenary Hall will host the XIII Tribute to Women Entrepreneurs.
The name of the honoree caravaqueña be unveiled during the ceremony, as is customary in the past editions of the award.
The solo piano, student of the School of Music, Arturo Sanchez Abellan be responsible for putting music to the tribute.
Finally, on March 12, at 19.00, the IV Recognition will be given to the woman, which this year will be dedicated to the 25 women entrepreneurs who have been part of the program of social and labor "Aurora" insertion.
In 1977 the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) proclaimed March 8 as International Day for Women's Rights and International Peace.
The struggle of women for their participation, on equal terms with men, in society and in their full development as a person is commemorated.
