Some 400 athletes participate on Sunday Caravaca de la Cruz in a charity race to draw attention to the existence in our society of diseases classified as rare.
The money raised will go to the inscriptions partnership for rare diseases and other severe developmental disorders D'Genes whose goal is to improve life expectancy and quality of life of people who suffer and their families.
The race, organized to mark the World Day for Rare Diseases, has been presented by the Councillor for Sports, Emilio Perez, accompanied by representatives of the Sports Association Singla, Pedro Garcia and Juan Antonio Sánchez, and the social worker of the association D'Genes, Isabel Sánchez.
"Once again we have in our town with an event that transcends sports field to assist a worthy cause," said Emilio Pérez mayor, who thanked the volunteer work by Singla Sports Association for the development of this activity .
The II March for Rare Diseases will run through the beautiful country of El Nevazo and Fuentes del Marqués from 9.30 am next Sunday, March 16.
"After the success of last year with the MTB mode, improve the tour this year and incorporated a great walking route of 20 kilometers, with an average difficulty," said Juan Antonio García.
Registrations are open until tomorrow, Wednesday, and can be formalized through the web portal www.singla.es.
