The City of Caravaca receives grants for projects boosting tourism and asset recovery
The board of Integral Society for Rural Development chaired by the mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, Domingo Aranda, European aid yesterday approved the "Leader approach" worth more than 4 million euros.
Part of this amount will go to performances presented by the towns of Caravaca, Cehegín, Bullas, Moratalla, Calasparra Mula, Lorca, Aledo, Albudeite, Totana, Alhama de Murcia, Pliego and Campos del Rio to promote the activity in the sector tourism, basic services for the rural population, conservation and upgrading of the rural heritage.
Moreover, the total aid managed by Integral, 808,333 euros will go towards entrepreneurs for the creation, alteration or expansion of micro, that will generate jobs and boost the local economy.
Most subsidies are aimed at those microenterprises located in rural areas of the counties of Northwest Espuña and Mula River, one of confectionery products and other industrial storage and processing of biomass, the latter based in the hamlet of Archivel caravaqueña.
Were also granted subsidies related to the sale of wines online business, renovabables energy, natural cosmetics and hospitality sector.
Integral President and Mayor of Caravaca, Domingo Aranda, recalled that the objective this entity "is to help create the conditions for access to the CSF and thus improve the economy and quality of life in rural conditions, .
