"In particular, information letters were sent to a total of 1,171 women, aged 50 to 69, to come to the mobile unit next to the Health Center and undergo mammography test" , as reported by the Councillor for Health in caravaqueño Consistory, Maria Teresa Romero Milanes.

The participation rate in the town of Caravaca de la Cruz in the last Programme for Prevention of Breast Cancer was 75.18%, which is above the regional average, which 70.1%.
In the period 2011/2012, 1,969 women participated, of which they had to undergo additional tests and studies a total of 82.
