On 13 June, the Archbishop of Zaragoza, Bishop Manuel Ureña Pastor, will visit the Basilica Santuario de la Vera Cruz accompanied by the Bishop of Cartagena, Bishop Jose Manuel Lorca Planes, both to participate in the signing of the twinning of the Minor Basilica with the Basilica del Pilar de Zaragoza.
The firm run by the Archbishop of Zaragoza and the Metropolitan Council, which oversees the Basilica del Pilar, and moreover the Bishop of Cartagena and the older brother of the Royal and Illustrious Brotherhood of the Holy and Vera Cruz de Caravaca, D . Pedro Pozo.
This twinning was one of the projects of government of Mr Pedro Pozo, ending his term as elder brother of the Brotherhood of the Vera Cruz on the last Sunday of this month, June 29, when the Cabildo choose his successor.
