Representatives of the Council of 17 dependent Involvement Social Centers Murciano Institute for Social Action (IMAS) have gathered at the Second Conference on Volunteer training representatives of the Councils Involvement social centers, held in Caravaca de the Cross.
The purpose of this meeting, which was attended by the Managing Director of IMAS, Leopoldo Navarro;
CEO Older IMAS, Enrique Perez, and the mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, Domingo Aranda, is to provide advice of representatives from the elements of motivation and encourage a climate of communication and participation.
At the meeting there have been several papers related to topics such as' Active and Healthy Ageing ', the' Organization meeting.
Problems and solution of conflicts in the process of participation ', among others.
In addition, a forum to discuss the daily activities of the centers took place.
Navarro said the work of training centers and which, he said, "are spaces for continuous learning, to project knowledge to young people and to encourage the development of recreation and leisure for the elderly."
On the process of aging, Perez stressed that "old age does not mean the decline of life, but a new stage of life marked by a series of life events and experiences."
In the social centers of the IMAS is conducted various activities and initiatives to prevent addiction and ensure active aging seeks to promote the integration of older people, intergenerational cooperation and basic advice on the network of social services.
