The local police has conducted workshops in schools on matters of Public Safety
The City of Caravaca de la Cruz has awarded prizes I contest "Children and road safety education" in which students participated in 5th year of primary school of "Cervantes", "La Santa Cruz" , "Basilio Sáez," "Saw Mojantes" and "Consolation" and special schools "Ascruz" and "Apcom".
The awards ceremony was held at the Plenary Hall of the City Hall with the mayor, Domingo Aranda, and Council Traffic and Public Safety, Emilio Perez, and Education, Carmen Ruiz.
The final competition came a total of 23 jobs, winners result, first, Aroa Escusa Rodríguez, awarded a mountain bike;
secondly, Morenilla Marta Sánchez, awarded a Tablet, and third, Juan Cristobal Navarro Martinez, awarded a biker gear and a helmet.
Councilman Public Safety and Traffic, Emilio Perez, said, "This competition has been to promote among children the concern and the importance of respecting the rules of road safety as pedestrians and future drivers."
The local police in Caravaca de la Cruz has developed during this course several initiatives aimed at children and youth in the municipality, as the first conference "Public Safety and Children", in which 350 students participated more and issues such as bullying were addressed ( bullying or cyberbullying), truancy, abuse in the family, thefts and robberies and vandalism on public roads.
Have also been held the Second Conference on Road Safety, with classroom lectures on basic traffic rules and practice sessions later and traffic in the park.
