The Region will finance the work of the general sanitation collector in the south of the town of Caravaca de la Cruz.
To undertake this project, the Ministry of Agriculture and Water has allocated a base budget of 522,000 euros bidding.
"We are facing a major investment that will allow solving the problems of accumulation and discharge of water that occur in certain areas of town in times of heavy rain," said the councilor for Urban Development and Services in the Consistory caravaqueño, Salvador Gomez.
The collector will collect water from the lower part of the Gran Via and Constitution Avenue and evacuated through the slope of Los Molinos, the general collector districts.
The new infrastructure will also solve the problems in the apple falls between Nicaragua, Lope de Vega Street and Constitution Avenue, looking very demanded by the residents of that area.
This project also prevents the passage of collectors and general networks under houses and private plots, with a path that runs entirely on public land, materials and diameters adapted to the population and needs.
The City of Caravaca de la Cruz and the Directorate General of Water supervised and have given approval to the project and work will begin during the fourth quarter.
