A total of 2,144 people participated during last August on the nightly theatrical visits to the Castle of Caravaca de la Cruz.
From the Department of Tourism of the City of Caravaca do a postive balance of these visits because, according to statements by the councilor responsible for the area, Maria Cruz Pérez, "both as caravaqueños tourists have returned to clothe themselves with their presence this singular tourist and cultural offer, which has completed its tenth anniversary with an average of 85 people every day. "
The increasing influx of people has coincided with the last ten days of August, when every night has far surpassed the hundred participants.
Based on statistics compiled by Caravaca Jubilee in the last decade, about 30,000 people have taken advantage of the night to discover the Castle and the Royal Basilica of the Holy and Vera Cruz in an original and entertaining way for summer nights visits.
Concert series to "A Moon Barranda"
For its part, the series "A Moon Barranda" 2014, which was closed last Saturday, also has achieved full capacity in scheduled concerts, with 2,250 attendees at the five nights of performances.
"The Museum's own Barranda Ethnic Music, which houses the collection of instruments Fadol Carlos Blanco, has registered a 36% increase visitors during the first half of the year, a total of 6,494 entries", as highlighted by the council Tourism and Culture in the caravaqueño Consistory.
The Museum of Ethnic Music is included in the Network of Museums of the Region of Murcia.
Inside, visitors can see a wide sample of the musical culture of 145 countries, as well as music, stories and legends dating back to the third century BC, compiled by musicologist White Fadol.
