The Department of Tourism of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz offer on this Sunday, September 28, a new route through the countryside and the villages of Caravaca de la Cruz.
Introduce lesser known places of interest and promote the cultural, natural and gastronomic heritage of the municipality are the objectives of these tours that are scheduled on a monthly basis views.
The route this Sunday focuses on the historic site of La Encarnación Strait, the old Camino Real de los Vélez, the site of Casa Chico Periago and salt.
It will last for half a day and start with the output bus participants at 9.00 from Salons Castillo de la Cruz.
Will visit the Roman tempo and the chapel, the gorge of the Virgin and the Iberian settlement of La Encarnación Los Villares, with lunch in the hamlet.
The route continues along the old Camino Real de Vélez and in the place Casa Chico, will visit an old cattle trough.
Finally, the guide and the participants will travel by bus to the salt Periago, an old salt works which traces its origins to the thirteenth century and the Christian repopulation and is in an area of ​​the field with the term borderline Caravaca de Lorca.
The arrival in Caravaca is scheduled for 17.00.
