Last weekend, 16 young people from the Diocese of Cartagena, Neocatechumenal communities belonging to the parish of St. Francis of Assisi in Caravaca de la Cruz, participated in a vocational coexistence directed by Kiko Arguello, founder of the Neocatechumenal Way in Porto San Giorgio (Italy).
In this coexistence also participated seminarians from Redemptoris Mater Missionary Seminary and Diocesan priests of this Diocese, along with hundreds of candidates to the seminary, seminarians and formators of the 102 missionaries Redemptoris Mater Seminaries exist worldwide.
During the weekend the young people had time to hear the announcement of the Kerygma;
scrutinize the Scriptures;
seek God's will for their lives;
receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation;
share experiences and participate together in the celebration of the Eucharist.
At the end of the meeting, eleven of them have already entered in one of the seminars: Miguel Angel Sanchez in Philadelphia (USA);
Juan Romera in Lezhe (Albania);
Pedro Romera in Warsaw (Poland);
José Romera in Macerata (Italy);
Juan Sola in London;
Jesus Romera in Córdoba;
David Molina and Pablo Ruiz in Castellón;
Jose Manuel Martinez in Granada;
and José María Álvarez and Jesús Fernández in the Diocese of Cartagena.
"Give thanks to the Lord who is generous with our Diocese and gives us these new missionary vocations.
