The Department of Trade and Crafts of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, in collaboration with the Association of Artisans of the resort, has unveiled a new season of Pilgrim's Market, held on the promenade log, every third Sunday of the month .
"El Mercado del Peregrino, who turns eighteen years of history, has been established as a more attractive city to attract visitors and at the same time, serves to support the work done by a group of about thirty craftsmen in our region and points border, "said the councilor responsible for directing all areas of Trade and Crafts, Maria Teresa Romero, who has announced that nine editions have been scheduled from October 2014 to June 2015.
For his part, the president of the Association of Craft, Teresa Calvache, has revealed that all editions will be accompanied by live music, craft demonstrations, children's workshops, and activities related to each topic.
The new season begins Pilgrim's Market this Sunday, October 19, with an edition dedicated to "Egypt", in which children can participate in multiple activities, such as workshops Egyptian painting and digging graves and treasures .
Future editions will be devoted to "Circus" (November 16), "Christmas" (December 21), "Music" (January 18), "Comic" (February 15), "Performing Arts" (15 March ), "May Festival" (April 19), "Fine Arts" (May 17) and "Recycled" (June 21).
The market hours will be from 10:00 to 14:30.
