The old church of the Jesuits reopens its doors with the "Silk Cake" exhibition, the artist Ana María Almagro.
The Department of Culture of the City of Caravaca, in its cycle of art exhibitions, keep this show open to the public from 17 October to 7 November, from 18.00 to 21.00.
Ana María Almagro, born in Lleida but living in Moratalla, specializes in paintings on silk, but also performs its work in pastel, oil, watercolor and mixed media.
Almagro has staged exhibitions in different locations of both individual and collective Murcia.
Thus, since 1993 he has participated in Cehegín samples, Lorca, Torre Pacheco, Caravaca de la Cruz, Murcia, Yecla, Mazarron, Cartagena, Almeria, Madrid and Lyon-Villeurbanne (France), among others.
This year has made the poster for the Moors and Christians in Murcia.
The artist herself explains, "work on silk requires preparation both material and emotional,. Liquid flowing paint on merging into a symbiosis of color, gloss and transparency support is a support that, despite its complexity, leading to a large final compensation, a carrier whose qualities can hardly match. "
The vernissage will take place tomorrow, Friday 17 October at 20.00.
