The Department of Education of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz reports that today opens the deadline to apply for scholarships from the Foundation Alfami.
Financial assistance for the academic year 2014/2015 students are destined for the municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz Elementary and Secondary Education, college, vocational training and specialized education.
Applications may be submitted until November 28 in the General Register of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz.
The call with the financial and academic requirements, is also available for viewing at this municipal department.
The amounts of the scholarships are 90 euros for elementary school students, 200 euros for post-compulsory education and 700 for college.
Last year the Alfami Foundation awarded a total of 102 grants for a total amount of 25,960 euros.
Economic aid was distributed among elementary students caravaqueños (19 scholarships), Secondary (35 scholarships), Secondary and Vocational Training (25 scholarships) and college (23 scholarships).
The Alfami Foundation is primarily intended as expressly provided their statutes and faithfully following the will of founder Alfonso López Álvarez expressed in his will, "give light to darkened minds privileged and the lack of financial resources through grants scholarships to facilitate the completion their studies.
