Local Youth Employment Centre, part of the Youth Council of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, open enrollment period in several training courses for the agricultural sector.
These free training programs are conducted in collaboration with the Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives of Murcia (FECOAM) and are approved by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Region of Murcia.
The titles of the new courses for employment in agriculture are: "Prevention Coordinator, Quality and Environment" (200 hours), "Prevention of occupational hazards in the workplace: Handling and packaging agro insdustrias" (10 hours), "Handler fruit and vegetable industry" (10 hours) and "Manipulator of pesticides and plant protection. Basic" (25 hours).
The courses are on-site and free registration.
In addition, the call is open courses "Safety Management Forklift" and "Operator Lifting Appliances", approved by the Labour Foundation Building and Metal Foundation of the Region of Murcia.

Moreover, the Youth Council of the City of Caravaca, under a collaboration agreement with five driving schools based in the town, has started the second round of the program for obtaining a driving license with reduced cost goal of enhancing mobility and improving employment opportunities.
In this program a total of 17 young caravaqueños involved.
