The release of lanterns will take place on Saturday at 20.30 in Pim Paco Plaza
The Association of Merchants and Hosteleros of Caravaca de la Cruz (ACHC), in collaboration with the departments of Commerce and Social Promotion of the City of Caravaca, held next Saturday, November 29, at 20.30 the initiative "Lights Solidarity" Pim in Paco Plaza (Plaza Elíptica).
"This activity fundamentally has a beneficial character, since the money raised by selling lanterns will go to buying toys that Red Cross and Caritas distributed for the next Christmas between caravaqueñas poor families", has explained the Councillor of Commerce, Maria Teresa Romero.
For its part, the president of the Association of Merchants and Hosteleros of Caravaca, Mª Ángeles Muñoz, wanted to thank the good reception that the "Solidarity Lights" had among citizens, "which once again have turned to a charitable initiative . So much so, that we had to change the venue for the loose, looking for a larger and more attractive for all the lanterns will look equally space, and visual field as large as possible, as with the Elliptical Square ".
The lanterns can be purchased at the price of 3 euros in shops belonging to the Association of Merchants and also on the elliptical square itself before the start of the event.
