The Office of Complaints and Suggestions Hall of Caravaca de la Cruz has received the award for Best Practices of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia today.
The awards ceremony was chaired by the Minister of Finance, Francisco Martinez Asensio, and has attended the Councillor for Urban Development, Salvador Gomez and service coordinator, Ana Maria Alvarez, who have received this award, after the intervention of President of the Legal Council of the Region of Murcia, Antonio Gómez Fayren.
During the ceremony, the mayor Salvador Gómez wanted to "thank the daily work of area coordinators, municipal and particularly Brigade maintenance and electricity, providing full cooperation and interest for this service to work and pay a good citizen services. "
The Ministry of Finance called the Innovation Awards and Best Practices to collect and disseminate successful experiences in public administration and to support efforts to improve the delivery of public services.
One aim of these awards is to recognize the work of those who have contributed to innovation and excellence in public service, creativity and craftsmanship, to improve the efficiency and quality of public administration.
The Municipal Office of Complaints and Suggestions Caravaca was created in 2010 due to the need to improve citizen services and optimize the inner workings of local government.
This service allows to take into account the suggestions of citizens and solving their complaints as quickly and efficiently as possible is of.
The office has established itself as an instrument to meet the real needs of citizens, optimize resources and prioritize spending and has led in recent years a considerable increase in the level of citizen participation.
Last year 1,254 complaints and suggestions were processed
Last year, the Office of Complaints and Suggestions Hall of Caravaca de la Cruz processed a total of 1,254 submissions from residents, of which 682 correspond to parts breakdown, 324 complaints, 59 suggestions, 23 acknowledgments and 166 consultations and online consultations.
The resolution rate in the neighborhood complaints rose to 88% and in the case of fault parts to 97.3%, according to data contained in the annual report of this service.
