The City of Caravaca de la Cruz and the concessionaire Urban Actions, Services and Environment have launched the new street cleaning service in the town and the villages of the municipality.
The service has ten new street cleaning equipment, including machinery adapted to the streets of the old town.
The built vehicles are scrubbing sidewalks, street sweepers, hidrolimpiador equipment, mini-gatherers and flushing tanks, among other esquipos.
"It is an acquired with the people of Caravaca de la Cruz and hope that the efficiency and quality criteria introduced are received by all neighboring commitment," said the Mayor, Domingo Aranda, during the presentation of the new machinery.
Under the action plan established, are launching gradually contracted various municipal services.
"In late summer, work began on gardens and parkland, completing the service that they occupied the municipal workers and downtown disabled Apcom, and now the street cleaning service starts," he detailed the head of the area Urban Development and Services, Salvador Gómez.

During the first quarter of next year the new machinery for municipal waste collection, consisting of two side-loading trucks, truck rear cargo and container washers will be incorporated.
The contract also provides for the addition of 1,080 new containers: 90 for containers 90 side loader, 200 municipal solid waste collection, 500 120 liters and 200 360 liters.
Last July the City of Caravaca de la Cruz signed with Acciona-Generala the contract for the provision of services of solid waste collection, street cleaning and garden maintenance.
The award was made in the amount of 2,135,000 euros, representing an annual savings of 160,000 euros compared to the budgeted amount initially in the specification.
The company also provides the Consistory 100,000 euros by vehicles currently in service.
