For the tenth consecutive year, the Youth Council of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz has held the workshop of Christmas sweets.
This edition has had the participation of 40 children and collaboration of a group of users Senior Center IMAS, which acts monitors showing the mode of preparation of traditional sweets of the Northwest Region.
The aforementioned workshop is included in the programming that the Youth Council bid during the Christmas holiday period with the aim of providing entertainment options and help reconcile work and family life.
With this activity, as highlighted by the mayor Antonia Maria Alvarez Jorquera, "also favor the intergenerational coexistence between children and grandparents and try the traditional recipes that have been passed from generation to generation are not lost".
During these days also develops Christmas School Youth Center, with more than 40 students.
In addition, the Youth Council continues decentralizing urban activities in order to bring them closer to boys and girls who live in the districts and for that we are offering craft workshops and storytelling in Barranda, Archivel, La Almudema, Pinilla, navares and the Incarnation.
