Users municipal rehabilitation program socio Caravaca de la Cruz made during the year 2014 more than a hundred works and actions to improve schools and public places in the municipality.
This program, in which twenty people led by 3 monitors involved, materialized thanks to a collaboration agreement signed between the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, the Murciano Health Service and the Murcia Association for Psychosocial Rehabilitation.
Among the tasks performed during the past year, highlights the improvement plan of the town schools and districts, with performances of painting and masonry classrooms, reform covered under fountains and toilets, repairs and waterproofing windows and shutters, etc. .
Within the program of socio rehabilitation, has also been carried out maintenance of municipal nursery, creating a school garden in Fuentes del Marqués and disposal of paintings in public spaces.
For development in 2014 Consistory caravaqueño contributed 21,000 euros, in addition to 58,750 euros financed by the Murcia Health Service.
One of the main objectives of this program is the rehabilitation and social and labor integration of people suffering from some form of mental illness or substance abuse problems, in coordination with the Center for Mental Health Northwest and municipal Social Services.
It also allows the execution of improvement works for the caravaqueña society, strengthening the work of the municipal brigade works and maintenance.
